We caught up with them to find out a little more about them, their business and get some top tips of what to do and where to eat in the wonderful area of Saint Tropez.

What brought you to Saint-Tropez?

The sun, the people and the stunning scenery. There is a vibe here that is hard to describe but people keep coming back for more.

 

Tell us a little bit about your business, how it started out and where you're based...

Lauren and I fell in love with the beauty of the Cote d’Azur, the amazing people, nightlife and the many exciting activities on offer here. Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, I have a keen eye for service and therefore a ‘lack of’. When you book a special holiday with family or friends, the last thing you want to be thinking about is heading to the supermarket or slaving away in the kitchen, you want to relax and make the most of your stay.

We spotted a void in the luxury villa market here where ‘service’ took a back seat and we were convinced that if we committed ourselves, we could add a whole new dimension to the term ‘Luxury Holiday’.

In 2015 we based ourselves in the heart of Saint Tropez and set about on our mission to offer discerning holidaymakers from around the globe a luxury holiday experience that left them with that ‘special’ feeling.

What makes Saint Tropez a special place to be for someone in your profession?

The amazing food we serve has become a highlight for our guests. Being based in Saint Tropez means that we have an abundance of incredible produce, including some of the most delicious and fresh seafood. It’s a chefs dream.

 

 

What are the best bits about your job here?

Due to the quality of our holidays, our guests tend to have higher than average holiday budgets. We get to meet unique and interesting people from all walks of life, such as movie stars, successful business men and women, even the occasional Prince or leader of a nation. Having the opportunity to help our guests create special memories and truly relax in absolute luxury gives Lauren, myself and our whole team a real sense of purpose.

And the worst bits?

The traffic. Unfortunately, with the incredible atmosphere and buzz around Saint Tropez, comes traffic. One way to combat this is to fly by helicopter. Your villa concierge will be more than happy to arrange this for you at preferential rates with our transport partners.

What are your future plans?

Due to our popularity, our villa portfolio is expanding. We have a diverse collection of stunning villas in and around Saint Tropez, in the most sought after areas. Not all of our guests choose to holiday in the same area each year and we are inundated with requests to open up new areas for our guests to stay with us. We are currently looking to expand into Ibiza, with a small collection of stunning fully-staffed villas. From there, the options are endless but we are driven by a desire to please our guests and will always listen to their suggestions.

 

What do you do on your days off?

Sleeeeep! When not catching up on sleep, we head out onto the water! There is so much fun to be had here.

Where's the best place for lunch or dinner here, and why?

We love the glitz and glam of central Saint Tropez. There are so many incredible eateries. However, one small hot spot has stolen our hearts. Auberge de la Mole! On first impressions, its façade looks like your average corner café but it is oh so very different. Regularly frequented by the late Princess Diana and Joan Collins favourite restaurant in the world, this place has un-matched charm and is a must visit for any food lover. Based 10km outside of St Tropez, 200m from the small Saint Tropez private airport, Auberge offers a lunch or dinner service that you will never forget. The food is out of this world and the courses just keep coming. They only accept cash so please don’t forget to stock up. We actually have a magical six bedroom villa called Villa Alaya which is just around the corner, nestled at the end of a private drive and surrounded by stunning vineyards.

Yachts or speedboats? What's your preference & why?

Speed boats! The ability to hop on a mid-sized speed boat, navigate your way effortlessly through the tight and windy quays, reach the open ocean and full throttle forward to a beautiful hidden coastal paradise for the day is unequivocally more appealing to me than being hoarded up on a cramped luxury yacht.
